2:2. এলিয় ইলীশায়কে বললেন, “তুমি এখানেই থাকো, কারণ প্রভু আমাকে বৈথেল পর্য়ন্ত য়েতে বলেছেন|”কিন্তু ইলীশায় বললেন, “আমি জীবন্ত প্রভুর নামে ও আপনার নামে শপথ করে বলছি য়ে আমি আপনাকে একলা ছেড়ে যাবো না|” সুতরাং তাঁরা দুজনেই তখন বৈথেলে গেলেন|

2:2. Elijah told Elisha, "Stay here, for the LORD has sent me to Bethel." But Elisha said, "As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So they went down to Bethel.
